HUZZAH! IT IS DONE!
  Yusss! Second longest artwork ever done by Lioneh! Took me over ten hours to complete. o___o; Nearly as bad as Wings of an Angel...[that was 18...] ANYWAY. I DID IT. iGenesis has been coloured!  I made a few changes to the wing shape and his arms, but other than that it's the same.  I am so totally pleased with this...me and Photoshop are friends. >w<; I decided to try out a new style of shading...and...it seems to like me! YAYYY! I used it on my Genesis piccy when he was a kid...but it's much better here. >3; AND FUNNILY ENOUGH... Like on Wings of an Angel, the wing took me SIX FREAKIN' HOURS. I always go so complicated with the feathers... [But I guess the result is worth it...] Anyway, this is going towards my major body of work for my art assessment this year for school and basically, I decided to take already existing characters and 'appropriate' them into my own style and design. So Genesis was my first candidate [I'm doing Zack now... ] and I really, really like how he came out.I decided to draw him about seventeen years of age in some spiffy clothes and Converse shoes [gotta love 'em!]. And basically, it's a kind of AU setting [it's a bit Maximum Ride like, actually...] and he's flying around with ravens and really enjoying himself with some music.  [And the ravens! ZOMG. I've never really drawn birds properly before...man...I'm so, so happy with the way they look, especially since I took like, one minute only to glance at references xD] Anyway, hope you guys enjoy it! Happy 295 deviations!  Oh, and P.s: The background is yet again a photo taken by yours truly, because I FAIL at painting clouds...;~;] - - - - - - - Time: Zomg, about 11 hours? Anyways, I'd like to say that the way this is executed shows the passion and enjoyment you brought to this piece. It is beautifully rendered and it has amazing detail.
The wing especially. I'm not quite sure if a wing bends that way, but this is Genesis wing, which is deformed, and very twisted like, so good attention to detail! ♥
The ravens are beautiful too and help take up some free space and complement the picture itself.^^ I adore converse shoes so anything you can incorporate that into it is like...love. X3 Also like the use of the iPod Nano(I believe) it was kind of funny that I want that exact one. XDD The color red one...weird.
Well executed and I love your attention to detail, it really shows through your works.^^ ♥
